The Information Systems program is one of the leading academic programs offered by the Department of Information Systems at the College of Computing and Information Technology. The program aims to equip students with specialized skills and knowledge that combine technology and management to meet the growing demands of the job market.

The program focuses on teaching students the design and development of digital systems and data analysis to support administrative processes and decision-making. It provides a comprehensive educational experience, covering fundamental courses such as programming, data structures, databases, and network management, alongside specialized courses like software engineering, cybersecurity, and information systems strategies.

Graduates of the Information Systems program are well-prepared to work across various sectors, including information systems analysis, software development, technical project management, and IT consulting, making them key contributors to organizational growth and achieving strategic goals.

Objectives

The graduates of the program are expected to:

Graduation Requirements

Students must complete 126 credit hours to graduate. Graduation is granted upon the successful fulfillment of all graduation requirements according to the approved study plan for the Information Systems program, provided that the cumulative GPA is not less than 2.75 out of 5.0.
